What do I need to be able to rent a car?

You must have, at a minimum, an active vehicle insurance policy with state minimum liability coverage. If you don’t have have full coverage (comprehensive), you will be required to purchase Renter’s Collision Protection (RCP) at a cost of $25 per day.

Where is your pickup and drop-off location?

We’re located at 78 Mossy Creek Dr Suite C, in Fort Valley. That’s on Highway 41 between Perry and Warner Robins. Click here for directions

What are your pickup and drop-off hours?

We’re open from 8:00 – 5:00PM Monday-Friday and weekends & holidays by appointment. After hours pickup & drop-off available for additional fee

Are there any additional fees?

Additional Driver:
Your Rental Agreement only allows the named individual to operate our vehicles. If you wish to add an additional driver or drivers, who meets eligibility requirements, this is available for $15 per day, per additional driver.

Rental Collision Protection:
In the Event Of An Accident, You Are Responsible For Any Damage To Our Rental Vehicle, Regardless Of Fault.
For only $29 Per Day, You Can Purchase Rental Collision Protection Which Will Pay For Any Damage To Our Vehicle, Over $250.00 As Long As You Do Not Violate the Terms of the Contract.

Local Pickup/DropOff:
Available within a 10-mile radius of our location, we can pick you up for your rental and drop you off when you return the vehicle. We charge $25 for pickup or drop-off, or $45 to pickup and drop-off, if arranged in advance.

After Hours Pickup/DropOff:
If your schedule requires that you pick up or drop off your rental after hours (including holidays and weekends), Crossroads Auto Rentals can help. After hours pickup and drop-off may be scheduled for $25.

Under 25:
Our minimum age for rentals is 25, but under certain circumstances can make exceptions for renters who are 21-24 years old. If approved, additional fees maybe required

What if I don't have insurance?

Do you charge for gas?

All rental vehicles come with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. You may fill it up yourself prior to return or prepay for us to fill it up for you after return for the cost of fuel per gallon on the day of return plus a $2.50/gallon service fee.

What do I do if I'm in an accident?

Crashes are required to be immediately reported in cases of death or injury, or when property damage exceeds $500.00.
1. Obtain the name and address of each driver, passenger, and/or witness;
2. Obtain the insurance company name and policy number for each vehicle involved;
3. Obtain the Year, Make, Model and License number of all vehicles involved;
4. Report the accident at once to the proper local authorities;
5. Report the accident immediately to your insurance company and your agent.

Do you offer Roadside Assistance?

Roadside Assistance is included with all rentals. It is available 24/7 365 days a year and included for free with every rental. This covers breakdowns, jump starting, tire changing, emergency fuel and unlocking.
